Probably the best service call I've ever had. I received an email confirmation when I scheduled my appt and the rmail included the name and picture of the technician scheduled to handle my service call, way cool. Rick Scheiderer showed up exactly as promised, diagnosed my issue immediately (and it was a weird thing that was the problem), made the fix and was gone. We hsd this problem looked at about a year ago and thst company could not diagnose the cause - Rick figured it out immediately. It really was a great service call experience. I am satisfied with the service. Brandon was professional and courteous. I was concerned about the prices of the replacement springs. They were about 3 times as expensive as the regular springs that my friend just paid. I was told that these springs are powder coated and have higher life. I was still not convinced it was worth 3 times the regular price. I was in a bit of a hurry to get the job done, so I went ahead with the 'premium' springs.

Rick came on a Monday to inspect and suggest what needed to be done to get my garage door functioning properly. It was decided that the motor needed to be replaced (the old motor was original to the house - 20 years old). Rick came to install the new motor on Tuesday night and successfully completed the job in no time flat!!! I am completely satisified with the install and Rick was so professional and informative about all that was needed to be done and how all components of the install worked. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality service I recieved with my recent garage door repair. I fully expected the technician to show up late, without necessary parts or tools, and have to schedule another appointment for which I'd have to miss more work. Wow! Was I surprised when I was called ahead of time by Rick, letting me know exactly when he would arrive (which was actually ahead of schedule!) He took the time to explain what needed to be done, quickly resolved the problem and even took the time to show me how to program the keypad entry (which we haven't known how to use in the 4+ years we've owned our home!). I made sure to get some of his business cards to give to my friends and co-workers! Precision Garage Door definitely deserves 5 stars!

Responsive but very expensive. They seem to know what they are talking about and if it's routine maintenance probably would be fine, I would no recommend them for an after hours call. Company resolved discount issue after the fact which I appreciated.
