I was headed to the store on Sunday morning and discovered my garage door wouldn't work. I googled online to find 24/7 garage door companies. I decided to call Precision Door after reviewing their website, checking Better Business Bureau and reading several of the reviews. It was a great choice. The service was scheduled for the following day(since I could live one day without the door operating). My technican Rick was on time, friendly, professional and diagnosed the problem immediately. I had to have the torsion spring replaced. He then began the repair and finished in record time. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He checked to ensure all other components of the door were in working order. During that check he found my pully chain had to much slack and recommended I replace the gear & sprocket assembly which I did. Before he left he ensured the door was working properly. I was very impressed with Precision Doors and Rick. There wasn't any high pressure sales tactics during this visit. I felt the service I received was superior. I would like to give a big THANKS to Rick for his great customer service. It's rare to get good customer service these days. I would highly recommend this company and plan to use them for any future garage door needs.

Eric came out within an hour of my first call. He immediately identified the main problem and also two other problems with my door. The door worked flawlessly afterward. I appreciate your fixing my broken garage door this morning but I thought the pricing was outrageous. $69 for a service call on top of the $125 torsion reset seems excessive but charging another $69 for a bottom corner bracket that can be bought at any hardware store for less than $5 is userous. Would I use you again in an emergency - probably. Will I recommend you - no.

After about 15 years use, our double garage door went on the blink. As it turned out, we had received an ad from Precision Door that described them as a top-notch company. I called them in the late afernoon and they set up a time for the next morning between 10 am and noon for their man to be out, giving me his name. A little past ten the next morning, Eric was here to repair my door. I was impressed with his courtesy and attitude and the manner in which he went about explaining the problems with our door and the options available to repair it. I appreciate him showing me the damaged parts. It made me confident of his honesty in knowing he didn"t try to sell me more than I needed. I don't remember when my door worked so quietly. I used Precision Garage Door recently for service on our garage door and was very pleased with the service and pricing. My reason for calling Precision however goes back to my experience with them a couple of years ago. It was Christmas Eve and my family had a trip planned to leave that day to see our families out of town. The car was all packed and our plan was to be on the road by 8:00 am for a few days. I got up early that morning to for an errand. When I tried to back out of garage I heard a loud crash. The cable on the garage door had broken and it would not go up or down. What was I to do? Nobody will come out on Christmas Eve and we could not leave our own garage later. It was 6:00 am and I got the yellow pages and began calling garage door companies. I left a message on Precision's answering machine and within 30 minutes I was called and told a technician would be out within 2 hours. The technician came and replaced our broken door spring and cables. We were able to leave for our trip by 8:30 am on Christmas Eve. Christmas was saved for us thanks to Precision Garage Door. Rick a few years back was the technician who was dispatched to help rebalance my old wood door which got off track after a power outage. From that service call, I chose Precision again. He was again the technician who installed my replacement garage door. He did a superlative job and it was obvious from conversations he is passionate about his work and did all necessary to service me the customer even when additional time into the evening was required. I ordered a non stock special order window insert, the full sunray which took longer than I had hoped to be installed. When I submitted an inquiry, Soni Frazier was so professional, sympathetic and passionate about her service as well. She proactively contacted me with updates on the completion timing of the insert install by Rick.

Lowell, thank you for such prompt and efficient service. My wife backed or attempted to back out of our garage last night without checking to ensure that the garage door was up. However, it was partially up or down. She backed my Jeep into it and the rest is history. Nevertheless, I call another company prior to calling yours. There was no answer. I googled and found Professional Door. I spoke with Dustin and he set up the appointment. Although it was scheduled for between 2-4 this afternoon I was contacted by Bob and he arrived around noon or so. We met, he looked at the door and pulled the dent out and reset the roller wheel and that was it. I asked him about the best lubricant to use on the door spring and roll wheels and he suggested WD-40 and some other from Home Depot and Lowe's. He was here and gone so fast that I thought he would have said, "Mr. Robison, there is no cost for that 10 second job." But he didn't. Thanks, and if we need service again we will call you.
