I learned of Precision Door through Angie's List. I called in the morning and by mid afternoon my garage doors were repaired and functioning safely and properly. I received an appointment confirmation. The crew called before they came and I was happy that they arrived earlier than scheduled. They quickly accessed the problems and had all repairs done in a short period of time. They told me what, why & how much. A roller had jumped out of the track, track out of line, screws on brace bar were stripped, belt would slip because there was no belt cap. The safety sensors needed replacing. They put stickers with contact info near the garage door operating button and gave me a magnet which is on the frig. Payment transaction was efficient. I received an email of the receipt and warranty and a report of what was done. Very professional. I will highly recommend Precision Door.

I have had a problem with my garage door not opening smoothly; it would jump when it was up about 6 - 8 inches from the bottom. It jumped so hard I thought it was going to jump off the track. Your tech Rick has been out a couple of times but could not find mechanically wrong to cause the problem mainly because it would not do it when he was there. However, he was out again yesterday and again the door did not jump but Rick found something sticky on the rubber strip that lays on the door when closed. That was it, mystery solved. I cleaned the sticky substance and my door now goes up as smooth and quiet as my neighbors. This was a great find on Ricks part. I am one happy customer. Thanks so much, Judy

Very satisfied with Precision! This is the second time we have had need to call on them to help us out. Very courteous and professional from the appointment scheduler to the technician, Rick, who solved the problem! Our appointment was made at 5:30pm on a Sunday and we were scheduled for next day service during a two hour block. Rick showed up within the first 20-30 minutes of the block! Rick replaced a 9 year old worn out gear & sprocket and reattached the chain. Good as new. It was also nice to see that Rick was the same technician that worked on the garage 3 years prior. I think that says something about the company and the employee. My only thing is that I forgot to print out or mention the $25 coupon!!! That's on me. Definitely would recommend this company! Thanks for being awesome!

After installing a new motor ourselves we actually called to program new remotes which we could not get to work. Calles to see if I could get a tech out to take a look at my door as it was "shifting" to the left. It was repaired several years ago by Precision and having had a great experience then, I made the call once more. Did not expect a repairman so quick, but she said she would get Rick out there to take a look as he was in the area. Several hours later Rick was there and gave me a thorough review of the problem. We had a garage door that was buckling all of a sudden and precision door sent someone out to our home on the same day as the problem occurred! They made my appointment over the phone and then followed up with an e-mail conformation of my appt. time, who my tech would be with a profile picture and a background summary..... pretty impressive! The torsion spring on my garage door broke on Saturday. I called Precision and made an appointment for Monday afternoon. Rick Scheiderer was our technician. He came in, assessed the situation, offered additional repair options (that we accepted) and made the necessary repairs fast and efficiently. He then looked at our opener motor which wasn't part of the scope of the work but found an issue that was causing the motor to make more noise than it should. He repaired this issue as well. My garage opener has not been this quiet since we bought the house 12 years ago. Rick was courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient.
