I live in east Memphis. Dillon Kirby was the technician who serviced my garage door twice recently. He is most professional, knowledgable, efficient, and gentlemanly. He replaced two springs on my garage door and later the garage door motor. He also programmed the remote in my car. I will ask for Dillon every time my garage door needs servicing or replacement.

Garage door would not open and could not even be lifted. Technician apologized for being an hour late for the last job of his long day. He had called ahead to keep me updated. Although he was going to be very late getting home, he cheerfully got to work and immediately diagnosed the problem (broken spring that was “only” 30 years old). Replaced it quickly and re-set the power unit. Very satisfied with his attitude and professionalism. Thank you.

I have dealt with Precision before and they are always professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. Dillon, the Tech that came to diagnose the problem with my old Garage Door Opener and ultimately replace and install my new Opener was great! Not only did he show up hours earlier than expected due to a cancellation at his end, but he did the install in record time and explained and walked me through the set up for MyQ and any wifi glitches that may arise. Dillon gets FIVE STARS! My dissatisfaction was that the "Residential Service Call" Fee of $83.95 was not removed once I decided to replace the opener after Dillon diagnosed the problem. In my experience that fee is charged only if you decide not to have any work done. I called the office to inquire about this and they stated that that fee is charged regardless. Additionally, and included with that Service Call Fee was a "Residential Fuel Surcharge" of $6.88, which in my opinion should be at the company's expense and not passed on to the consumer/customer. It's the Cost of Doing Business after all. My husband drives to work every day and is not reimbursed by anyone for the fuel to get there. Just another way to gauge the consumer I guess.

I had a repair that another company couldn’t fix properly. Chris Hisaw arrived on time and, after an inspection of the problem , knew just how to fix it. Precision Door Service technical rep. knew how to replace the sensor boards and had exactly two on the service van, which is what was needed. These parts were hard to come by, so I considered myself very fortunate to get the two sensor boards for the Liftmaster doors 2 and 3. Scott the technician performed a very thorough job of replacing the ones that were struck by Lightning. For anyone with garage doors, hope your garage never gets struck by 40,000 plus volts of lightning at 4:30 a.m. on a February morning. Lucky that the MLG&W transformer to garage and house are on separate meters, the motors were O.K. it, just sensor boards were ruined, but now replaced. Thanks, Precision Door Service.
