The torsion spring on my garage door broke on Saturday. I called Precision and made an appointment for Monday afternoon. Rick Scheiderer was our technician. He came in, assessed the situation, offered additional repair options (that we accepted) and made the necessary repairs fast and efficiently. He then looked at our opener motor which wasn't part of the scope of the work but found an issue that was causing the motor to make more noise than it should. He repaired this issue as well. My garage opener has not been this quiet since we bought the house 12 years ago. Rick was courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. Wes did a great job, and was done in no time! He converted my single-spring (broken) setup over to a double spring, which should help extend the life of the springs. He also made some other upgrade recommendations to replace the inferior plastic sleeve bearings on the bearing plates with sealed ball bearing units instead, which I opted for. Now my already quiet door opens/closes almost silently. Very happy with Wes' service!

After dealing with overpriced shade-tree Sharks for Garage door repair and parts, I finally called Precision in 2014. My garage door was fixed perfectly , the price was less than 75 bucks, and this year I replaced my old 1996 chain drive Genie with a Liftmaster Belt Drive Garage Door Opener and ,, it was cheaper than I had expected! Everyone from Dispatch to the Technicians are kind, punctual,and knowledgeable! So why would you want to go anywhere else? They are a 5 star accredited business in my book!! FYI, The liftmasters openers with MyQ technology is awesome! I use my smartphone to open,close my garage door...But it closes on its on after a set amount of time that you have programmed, just in case you drive off and forget to close it~~

I called for a service appointment around 8:15 AM, they set the appointment for between 10-12 that same day, Rick, the technician, called me about 9:30 to say he would be at my house in around 20 minutes, and he was!
