The torsion spring snapped on our garage door yesterday. We tried calling service companies to schedule a repair and got voicemails (still not returned). Gave Precision a call and spoke with a human! My wife scheduled next day service, but when they found out her car was stuck in the garage, they scheduled an appt last night. We had Precision Door install a new spring in 2004. At the time, they recommended 2 springs (one on either side of the opening chain. We only had one.) They said it would last longer. Our first spring lasted 9 years. The one they installed lasted 13 years. It broke yesterday. They were out today and since I had my receipt from 2004, every thing was covered and they said it was a better spring to boot!! Very satisfied!!
