Roger came the same day we called and was able to complete the work in a short amount of time. He was friendly and professional. The cost of the springs seemed surprisingly high but that has nothing to do with the technician.

I contacted Precision to schedule a technician to come out and replace a broken garage door spring. We scheduled for the next morning between 8 - 10 am. I received a call from Dillon at 8:15 that he would be at the house in 10-15 min. They showed up by 8:30 and he indicated it would take about 20-30 min. He replaced both springs, per their recommendation, and was completed before 9:00 am. I was told in advance of about how much it was, and although I felt it was a bit pricing, they lived up to the stated expectations.

I have dealt with Precision before and they are always professional, courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. Dillon, the Tech that came to diagnose the problem with my old Garage Door Opener and ultimately replace and install my new Opener was great! Not only did he show up hours earlier than expected due to a cancellation at his end, but he did the install in record time and explained and walked me through the set up for MyQ and any wifi glitches that may arise. Dillon gets FIVE STARS! My dissatisfaction was that the "Residential Service Call" Fee of $83.95 was not removed once I decided to replace the opener after Dillon diagnosed the problem. In my experience that fee is charged only if you decide not to have any work done. I called the office to inquire about this and they stated that that fee is charged regardless. Additionally, and included with that Service Call Fee was a "Residential Fuel Surcharge" of $6.88, which in my opinion should be at the company's expense and not passed on to the consumer/customer. It's the Cost of Doing Business after all. My husband drives to work every day and is not reimbursed by anyone for the fuel to get there. Just another way to gauge the consumer I guess.

The wait time was quoted as 3 weeks and the replacement panels didn't arrive until 4 weeks. I recieved no call to advise me of a delay, instead I called in myself. When the panels were installed they were the wrong color. One week later they returned with the correct panel's and installed them. Precision Garage Door replaced my entire garage door and motor. The set up a 4 hour window. The crew showed up on time and got the job done in 90 minutes. Very impressed. The only negative was greasy and oily hand prints were left on the garage door and the frame of the house where the wireless keypad was installed. Wished the crew had cleaned that up. Otherwise, great job and I would recommend this company.

Troubleshot issue with opener remotes not working; replaced the circuit board. Also replaced the weatherstripping on bottom of door. Rick was professional and very personable. I give this service call 4 stars, instead of 5, due to the fact that when I called in to schedule the service, I was quoted incorrectly on replacing the weather stripping. It was quoted over the phone with the assumption that the aluminum stripping needed replacing as well ($11 per foot). I discovered this once Rick arrived. When I ended the call to your office, I thought this was extremely expensive for rubber stripping. If I didn't have the remote control issue, I would not have scheduled the visit. Fortunately, once Rick arrived, he realized what I really needed and the price for the stripping was a lot less expensive that I thought. Rick was thorough and determined to find and fix my problem with the remotes. He offered me a couple different options for repair and didn't push anything that I didn't need. Lowell, Rick is a great asset and takes care of customers as if he was the owner. Commitment to service and a sense of ownership is harder to find these days; let him know that you appreciate him!!!
